The Museum of Modern Art of Bahia (MAM-BA) will be open to visitors on Sunday, 30, running exceptionally from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. on account of the final of the Confederations Cup. In the same way that MAM-BA, the Bahia Art Museum (MAB) and the Palace of the Arts, linked to the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage (IPAC), will also have their modified schedules.
The three museums offer to the public exhibitions and activities that integrate the program of the Cultura em Campo project, an initiative of the Secretary of State Culture (Secult-BA). Among them, the show The Game ends only when it ends, in the Palacete das Artes, and the MAM-BA: Other Sonoridades event, with shows by Lazzo and Márcia Castro.
As of July 3, all museums linked to IPAC return to normal functioning. The MAM-BA, Palace of the Arts and MAB works from Tuesday to Friday, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The museums Tempostal, Udo Knoff de Azulejaria and Cerâmica and Abelardo Rodrigues, as well as Solar Ferrão, are open to visitors from Tuesday to Friday from 12h to 18h and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 12h to 17h. The Castro Alves Historical Park, located in the municipality of Cabaceiras do Paraguaçu, welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9 am to 2 pm. The spaces have free visitation.
